We're StudioForty9. Founded in May, '07, and based in Cork, Ireland — we are a focused team of professionals with many years experience in designing, programming and producing great looking, profitable websites built on durable, robust systems. We bring quality and perfectionism to each project.

StudioForty9 thrive on new web technologies and are meticulous when it comes to crafting pixel perfect, standards compliant and Search Engine Optimized websites using flexible frontend frameworks to speed up development.

When it comes to developing your website, we've got your back. StudioForty9 has experience working with a myriad of different Content Management systems, including ExpressionEngine, Wordpress, Textapattern, Drupal, Symphony and even Joomla (shudder). We also use a variety of PHP development frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Zend for rapid application development.

We know our business, inside out and from the ground up. We can work with and customise 3rd party software. We've built extensions and plugins for a number of systems; most notably, payment gateways for Realex, HSBC, Barclays and PayOffline for the ground-breaking Magento E-Commerce System.

Web citizen since 2001, when CGI-Perl hit counters were all the rage, Ger has worked on web and interactive media projects spanning the sublime to the ridiculous. His current technology passion is Flex, his favourite colour is still PANTONE 382

Ger is largely responsible for Project Management and Client Liaison.

Eoghan O'Brien

StudioForty9's resident ExpressionEngine aficionado and general web enthusiast, Eoghan takes care of both designing and developing websites to pixel perfection aswell as CMS integration and bespoke, unobtrusive Javascript code to handle the many tricky client requests with graceful degradation and progressive enhancement.
