Like the look of the NYT on it tho - apps to the rescue... still somewhat excited, but saddened to note I'm already thinking of iPad Gen. 2

Looks like the exterior design was for a portrait device, even the apple on the back, but demo is mainly landscape - iPad looks sideways.

A little underwhelmed by the iPad, looks like a poorly considered overblown iPhone - what's with the home button? The squareness? The dock??

have #applelive screwed up the live feed?? What did the guy say - hockamyschmokes - "I think Steve Jobs has destroyed our internet" ??
