Wrap Up the Little Ones

Jellybabys is an online shop for babies and infants, focusing mainly on clothes and footwear. We've done lots of bits and pieces in helping this site transition from osCommerce to Magento, but maybe the most interesting has been adding gift wrap functionality to the checkout process.

This involved adding a step to the onepage checkout process to allow a customer to choose to get his/her order gift wrapped. After adding in the step and making sure it is saved correctly via the AJAX calls, it needs to added to the cart total. To make it easy for the client to manage, we added a section to the system configuration, to configure the text displayed and the pricing of the gift wrap.
